EXERCISES FOR NECK PAIN

Hold for a few seconds, then roll your shoulders forwards and upwards, releasing your shoulder blades. Repeat for several repetitions.

Upper back stretches: Sit or stand with a straight spine and bring your arms behind your back, interlacing your fingers. Straighten your arms and lift your hands up towards the ceiling, feeling a stretch in your upper back and shoulders. Hold for a few seconds, then release and repeat for several repetitions.

Chest stretches: Stand or sit with a straight spine and bring your arms behind your back, interlacing your fingers. Straighten your arms and lift your hands up towards the ceiling, feeling a stretch in your chest and shoulders. Hold for a few seconds, then release and repeat for several repetitions.

Neck and shoulder stretch: Stand or sit with a straight spine and bring your right arm across your chest, using your left arm to pull your right arm towards your chest gently. Hold for a few seconds, then release and repeat on the opposite side. Repeat for several repetitions on each side.
